Getting error while mining "Passphrase does not match reward recipient"

Hi all

I have installed everything to mine Burst and when I started mining the above message came up. I have no coin now in my wallet. It starts pool mining but when it finds something it comes up with the “Passphrase does not match reward recipient”. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sending over a coin, welcome!

Read the information below carefully, because this is the only coin I’m sending you  With the amount of coins I am giving out daily now, I’m trying to get people to conserve coins when starting off so I can help out more people. If possible, please help out any new person needing a coin. Donations are also welcome to help me start new people off  BURST-FFLQ-3QZJ-267R-F3QBX

Contrary to what most of the getting started guides say, you only need to create one transaction to “activate” your wallet. Changing your reward recipient to a pool for mining gets this done. Please read this post regarding activating your account - What It Means To Create Your Public Key (AKA “Activate” Your Account) - Simply Explained

I highly recommend and pools for new miners with under 24TB!

Hi ryanw, Thanks for the coin. My wallet seems corrupted because it says my passphrase, is wrong. I have installed a new wallet and am unable to transfer your coin to the new address without the passphrase. Very frustrating. I have never change my passphrase and I always keep my info on hand. If you can give me another coin I will make sure you get more back when I am mining.

I will donate to you as soon as i`m off and running. BURST-XEHU-PP5X-8D2S-9XGGV is my new wallet address.

Thanks again.

@melrobcob Ok I am sending another coin. Your old wallet still has the old passphrase that works for it, it never changed.

If you have a space in the beginning or the end of the passphrase from cutting and pasting, this sends you to a different wallet address, so that may be worth checking out. If you are using this new address, you will have to replot unfortunately.
