Hi Lei

I can see that you have the coin in your address. If you are using a local wallet installation, you need to wait until you are synced up with the network to interact and view the current info of your address.

While you are waiting, you can also use the online wallet. https://wallet.burst.cryptoguru.org:8125/index.html

Read the information below carefully, because this is the only coin I’m sending you  With the amount of coins I am giving out daily now, I’m trying to get people to conserve coins when starting off so I can help out more people. If possible, please help out any new person needing a coin. Donations are also welcome to help me start new people off  BURST-FFLQ-3QZJ-267R-F3QBX

---- Getting Started Read Below Before Continuing ----

Contrary to what most of the getting started guides say, you only need to create one transaction to “activate” your wallet. Changing your reward recipient to a pool for mining gets this done. Please read this post regarding activating your account - What It Means To Create Your Public Key (AKA “Activate” Your Account) - Simply Explained

I highly recommend https://0-100-pool.burst.cryptoguru.org/ and http://www.burstneon.com/ pools for new miners with under 24TB!

Thanks Ryan. I couldn’t log into the online wallet with the passphrase of my current wallet. do I need to leave spaces between words or not for logging in?

#4

It needs to be EXACTLY the same every time. Not even an extra space before or after. The same capitalization…

Or…

You just log into a different address. I can’t stress how important it is to have the exact password saved.

#5

Yes that’s important to know.
it’s just hard to type such a long string without a typo… plus you couldn’t see what you typed.
im still downloading the blockchain on my local wallet. do you know how big is the burst blockchain? I don’t want it to take too much space on my laptop.

It depends on the databse type you are using. The default H2 database I think will use 5-10 GB

It is best to copy/paste this passphrase into a .txt file. I do this, then have this .txt file on an encrypted USB stick.

thank you. that’s really helpful to know
