Contrary to what most of the getting started guides say, you only need to create one transaction to “activate” your wallet. Changing your reward recipient to a pool for mining gets this done. Please read this post regarding activating your account - What It Means To Create Your Public Key (AKA “Activate” Your Account) - Simply Explained

I highly recommend https://0-100-pool.burst.cryptoguru.org/ and http://www.burstneon.com/ pools for new miners with under 24TB!

I’ve sent 2 coins back ryanv.

I’ve configured the Blago (default choise) CPU miner, the reward is ok (checked reward recipient).
But I’m not able to see my name or burst account in the miner list on https://0-100-pool.burst.cryptoguru.org.
Is there any tips I’ve missed? The miner is running without error (sometimes HDD WAKE UP message).

From what I see, your reward recipient is set to Burst Neon right now.

If everything is working correctly, the reason you may not show up on a pool is that you have too little space plotted, and have not submitted an acceptable deadline.

How much space do you have plotted, and also can you show a screenshot of the miner running for some rounds?

For the moment i’ve only 1TB plotted to test before I add 10 TB; the first plotting takes a long time.

Yes I’ve set Burst Neon now. On their page when I add my BURST account nothing happens.
On cryptoguru I’ve got an “unknown account” answer.

When I’ve set the reward assignement, i’ve not taken the created user BURST account but the one who can be found on the left in the wallet.

Any idea?

Ok, you need to be mining for awhile for you to show up in a pool.

You do not just show up on a pool after changing reward recipient. You must start mining. Then, you must submit a deadline that is accepted by the pool. After these things, you will show up there.
