Contrary to what most of the getting started guides say, you only need to create one transaction to “activate” your wallet. Changing your reward recipient to a pool for mining gets this done. Please read this post regarding activating your account - https://forums.getburst.net/t/what-it-means-to-create-your-public-key-aka-activate-your-account-simply-explained/2396

Here is a guide for setting your reward recipient for pool mining - https://forums.getburst.net/t/how-to-set-your-reward-recipient-most-secure-for-your-burst-address/6443

I highly recommend https://0-100-pool.burst.cryptoguru.org/ and http://www.burstneon.com/ pools for new miners with under 24TB!

Thanks a lot for donation but it’s weird, but any transaction coming to my account is being automatically transferred to Account BURST-WB8B-LZRH-ASR2-8SPRP… The amount you sent automatically forwarded to that account. Also another transaction that I got yesterday from faucet was also automatically sent to that account. Can you help me investigate this problem? This is my old burst account created a few years back when I was researching on burst.

It’s been compromised then. This has been going on for a couple years now. You will need to get a new account.

There isn’t a definitive reason for this thefts, but it can be beacuse of a weak password, using an online wallet where the operator was recording passphrases, or your computer was hacked…

At any rate, abandon that one and get a new one. use a strong password, like adding characters to the 12 word suggestion, and make sure your own computer is locked down. Keep the passphrase saved somewhere safe from any prying eyes.
