Optimizing Plotter for Linux

The PoCC has made a small optimizing BURST plotter for Linux

It’s a clone of omdcct with improved support for various instruction sets in one binary (no need to have plot and plotavx2). 32bit support has been removed.

Thanks PoCC for all great things that you bring to the Burst Community!

I will try this plotter with my new Ryzen 7 1700 and see how it performs on Arch Linux. Just have to install some hard drives first

Is it possible to pre-allocate without doing a full write, maybe creating a sparse file? I’m plotting an NTFS USB drive for later use on a Windows miner, and the pre-allocate is taking forever.

EXT4 on SATA seems to go quickly.
