Please help with first Burst

I am starting a Burst miner on a Dell PowerEdge R610 running Ubuntu. I have the wallet running and I need my first Burst.
Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Hey @Reydenn welcome to the forum. It looks like you have already found a coin, so you are ready to go.

Read the information below carefully, because this is the only coin I’m sending you  With the amount of coins I am giving out daily now, I’m trying to get people to conserve coins when starting off so I can help out more people. If possible, please help out any new person needing a coin. Donations are also welcome to help me start new people off  BURST-FFLQ-3QZJ-267R-F3QBX

Contrary to what most of the getting started guides say, you only need to create one transaction to “activate” your wallet. Changing your reward recipient to a pool for mining gets this done. Please read this post regarding activating your account - What It Means To Create Your Public Key (AKA “Activate” Your Account) - Simply Explained

Highly recommend and pools for new miners!

Thanks Very much. I am struggling finding instructions to plot my hard drives in Ubuntu. I am using NRS 1.2.3 because that is the only wallet I found with instructions to install in Ubuntu. It is not an all in one wallet. So plotting I think will require different software.
I will find my way eventually but any links or advise is appreciated.

I do not unfortunately have any experience with plotting or mining in linux…However, one thing for sure is that is a very old version. Please install 1.3.6cg. 1.2.3 is part of an old line that is no longer maintained.

It is very easy to install the current software for ubuntu.

It will install the Burst wallet as a service on your machine.
