Today, the PoCC has released details on a package repository that will be maintained for Burst software. As of right now, CreepMiner is available for Debian (Stretch, and Jessie), with of course more software planned to be added.
To install CreepMiner on Debian:
\wget -q -O - http://package.cryptoguru.org/debian/init.sh | bash && apt-get install creepminer
What this does is it first downloads the cryptoguru repository, and then installs CreepMiner.
So, what does this mean? This will make Burst software easier to install for linux users. This is just another small block building the base of Burst development. Other OS and platforms will follow this trend in time as well.
Discussion on this topic will be at this thread:
Future news regarding the package repository will be added to this announcement thread.
